get out of the way

I have been talking to quite a few people lately about life and where God brings you and I am amazed.

Do you look at things in your life and just are in awe of what God is doing? How did I get here? Where am I going? I will tell you God has blessed me in GREAT abundance. I was thinking about all the people in my life who love me. Golly, how many do I send this blog out to? Too many to count that is for sure.

There are some of you I have known for years and years and in fact have lived with and we are STILL good friends. I think that through Christ all things are possible. Especially when we get out of the way! Oh yeah that is a biggy!!! Get out of God’s way.

I will tell you, recently I have been stretched beyond my comfort zone and have realized ya know it is ok to sit back and give God the wheel. I know shocking, don’t have a heart attack. But ya know it is good to realize, there isn’t a thing I can do about this, this is really something beyond my own control. How comforting that is in a way. What a blessing too.

Well I leave you with that…remember that we tend to get in God’s way. What we think might be ‘HIS’ plan is us putting ourselves in His role. Ahh as Shane says…sin is us trying to be our own ‘gods’.

And you know what a picture freak I am. I got to go camping this past weekend! I love camping! This is me and my friend Drew. Way up around 10,000 ft. Boy it was chilly!

quick update

So my friend emailed me and said, “Have you been a blog slacker?” Well yes yes I have. It isn’t that I haven’t HAD anything to blog about, just been super busy.

For the past couple of weeks we have been preparing for our big move here at the office. Now I am sitting in my new office, which is a lovely shade of eggplant. I have two of my Star Wars posters up and am going to be getting a nice little framing of some of my Ireland pictures up.

The worse thing that has happened recently is that the Blackberry is down! It has died. They are sending me one, but it won’t be here until Wednesday. OH the madness. Yeah I don’t want to hear it. ha ha

One other good thing is I had my first review about two weeks ago. I have to tell you, I have never had such a great review…not ONE negative thing was said. How lovely is that? In fact they said I was doing a tremendous job, so I guess they’ll keep me.

As far as the health things go…I had my first asthma attack in about five years Saturday nite, not pretty! All is well now. *whew*

So I am also back the exercise wagon. If you read through my former blogs you will see I was doing pretty good and doing SO well. Welll, so now I am back on it. Not ONLY that, but back on the healthy eating habits as well.

I guess that is all for now. I really need to get on the stick and try to get my office finished up. Run a couple of errands and such. I’ll post pictures of my new office when it gets put together. Sorry this is so thrown together…I hope it all made sense. ha ha ha
