caffiene is NOT your friend

Nothing really insightful today. Just me rambling.

My motto used to be 'caffiene is your friend'. Friends, let me tell you that is a lie.

As most of you know I have been decaffeinated for well over a month now. Well, I have had insomnia again for the past week, starting on Saturday night, so it has been about a week of not a lot of sleep. This morning I was DRAGGING. So, I let myself partake in some liquid refreshment.

Can I tell you what a mistake that was? I am driving myself crazy. It is like I am a totally different person. I just emailed a good friend of mine and asked, “How in the WORLD did you ever put up with me?” The other day same friend and I were heading somewhere and he asks, "Are you ok?" I said, "Yes, this is just how I am now, quietly decaffienated." It is quite lovely.

The moral of the story is…caffeine is NOT your friend and you should stay away from it.

HEY, tomorrow is my birthday! I’ll be 35 years old…old as dirt. I’ll have to post one of the more recent pictures of myself…I know I still look good.
