are you listening?

Time to blog…ok so this morning I had a good conversation with a friend of mine and it got me to thinking about somethings…and stuff that ya don’t normally think about. Some of it being what God calls us to be and the roles He gives us.

So, I am praying and such. So, at lunch I start reading this book, I have been trying to read it for oh a year now. Captivating. It is a great book, with scripture and just showing us how our hearts are like that of Gods. I get to a portion in the book that says exactly what I had been thinking earlier in the day!

Wow, how the Holy Spirit works sometimes. Ya know it is like we have thoughts about things and then someone will come up and say EXACTLY what you are thinking. Or say you have been prayng for something...and you are reading and studying and the answer is there. I truly believe that these are ways of God pointing us in the right direction. Talk about conviction.

So…be mindful of study and be in the scripture. I know a lot of us feel we are seeking for answers. The answers are right there for us. God has given us His Word. He will speak to us, we just need to be willing to listen.
