are you sarah?
Today’s Blog is a bit of a continuation of yesterdays. I was reminded of the story of Abraham & Sarah yesterday, when I was asking a question.
God told Abraham he would be the father of a great nation. With desendents as plentiful as the grains of sand and the stars in the sky. Well, it appeared for awhile that God’s promise to Abraham was for not.
So, Sarah, decides to take things into her own hands and give Abraham her handmaiden. As we know in the end, God DID grant Abraham & Sarah with a son. From that grew the Jewish nation, the children of Israel.
Ok, now I don’t think any of us are wanting to birth a new nation. However, God has promises for us as well. Are we going to be like Sarah and try to help things along or are we going to just really trust God?
